February 2025 Successes:

60+ Criminals Apprehended and $160K+ Recovered

STORY OF THE MONTH

Big Box Retailer – Wichita Falls, TX – February 13, 2025

Two suspects attempted a burglary at a big box retailer, which resulted in the theft of $81,000 worth of merchandise and a 3Si Jewelry Tracker. The tracker activated immediately, providing real-time location updates as the suspects fled. Police tracked the stolen goods as the suspect swiftly fled. Officers intercepted the suspects without incident, leading to their arrest and the full recovery of the stolen merchandise. According to investigators, this case would likely have gone unsolved without 3Si tracking technology. No injuries were reported, and the stolen merchandise was returned to the retailer.

Athletic Apparel Store – Los Angeles, CA – February 7, 2025

5 Arrests and Partial Recovery

At least five suspects entered an athletic apparel store in Los Angeles and stole merchandise and a hidden ORC Tracker. They fled the store, and the ORC Tracker alerted local law enforcement of the robbery. Within seven minutes, law enforcement arrested five suspects and recovered merchandise.
Bank – Rochester, NY – February 10, 2025

Full Recovery of $1,100 and 1 Arrest

A lone suspect entered the bank and demanded cash while indicating that he had a bomb. The teller compiled, giving the suspect over $1,100 and a Cash Tracker. The Cash Tracker alerted law enforcement to its current location and police were able to hone in on the suspect and arrest him safely with no injuries. Additionally, there was no bomb found, and all of the cash was returned to the bank.

Clothing Store – Vancouver, BC – February 12, 2025

Full Recovery of $500+ and 1 Arrest

A suspect stole over $500 worth of merchandise from a clothing store along with a 3Si ORC Tracker. The tracker activated immediately, providing real-time location updates to law enforcement. Officers responded swiftly, using 3Si track data to locate the suspect walking within 10 minutes. The suspect was detained without incident, and all stolen merchandise, including the tracker, was fully recovered and returned to the store.

Pharmacy – Kansas City, MO – February 13, 2025

Full Recovery of $20,000 and 1 Arrests

A suspect robbed a pharmacy, stealing $20,000 worth of merchandise and a 3Si PharmaTracker. The tracker activated immediately, providing real-time location updates as the suspect fled. Officers tracked the stolen goods and intercepted the suspect without incident, leading to an arrest and the full recovery of the stolen merchandise.

Telecommunications Store – San Antonio, TX – February 13, 2025

Full Recovery of $30,000 and 1 Arrests

A suspect robbed a telecommunications store, stealing $30,000 worth of merchandise and a Phone Tracker. The tracker activated immediately, providing real-time location updates as the suspect fled. Officers tracked the stolen goods until the suspect stopped for a moment. Police then arrested the suspect without incident and a full recovery of the stolen merchandise is expected.

Dollar Store – Macon, GA – February 21, 2025

Full Recovery of $500 and 1 Arrests

A suspect robbed a dollar store, stealing $500 in cash and a Cash Tracker. The tracker activated immediately, providing real-time location updates as the suspect fled on foot. Officers located the suspect nearby and arrested him without incident. The stolen money and firearm were recovered. The suspect has been charged with armed robbery with a firearm. No injuries were reported.

Big Box Retailer – Beaumont, TX – February 28, 2025

Full Recovery of $1000 and 2 Arrests

Two suspects burglarized an outbuilding on a big box store’s property, stealing dozens of car batteries worth $1,000, as well as a Bait Car Battery. The tracker activated immediately, providing real-time location updates as the suspects fled. 3Si contacted the police, who were logged in and assisted with tracking. Officers located the suspect vehicle and engaged in a pursuit before stopping the car, arresting both suspects and recovering the stolen batteries. The suspects have been linked to several other cases. No weapons were involved, no crashes occurred, and no injuries were reported.
